Marmalade Granola
My family wanted a nut free granola so I created this recipe and it is a huge success! We hope you enjoy it.
Ingredients:
3 cups of organic oats
1 cup of mixed seeds
1 tablespoon odourless coconut oil
2 tablespoons of rindless marmalade
1/2 teaspoon of ground ginger
1 tablespoon of maple syrup
Zest of one orange & half juice
Method: mix all ingredients together and spread out on a baking paper covered baking tray. Bake in the oven for 10 minutes on 170 degrees, stir, and bake for a further 10 minutes at 150 degrees till golden. Stir a last time, to crisp the granola up, put on lower level and switch the oven off, let it dry out, it shpuld be super crunchy!.
I put this into glass kilner jars but at this point you could also add raisins or goji berries. This is great with fruit & Greek yoghurt or topped on my bircher muesli.
